An oasis in the city
In Ontinyent town centre we can find this Neo-Mudejar building with hints of late Valencian modernism. It dates from 1925 when it was known as the Chalé Mompó. The building, refurbished and turned into a hotel in 1997, features a ground floor, two storeys and an attic at the centre; it is inspired by palatial buildings from North Africa and the Middle East. And crowned by two minarets that conceal a garden with fountains and palm trees. An irresistible invitation to enjoy some tea.
